An AutoDraft is a preapproved car loan that you can take with you to the dealer. You apply ahead of time and are approved for a set amount of money at a set interest rate. This means you’ll know what your monthly payment and interest rate will be before you start shopping!
You are given a check with the pre-approved amount already filled in, which is the maximum you have to spend on a vehicle. The dealer will simply fill out their portion of the check, which they will return to Belco to close the loan. You sign it and you’re done! And if you end up spending less than the maximum amount, your monthly payment will be adjusted appropriately.
