1: What is belco@net Internet Banking? belco@net Internet Banking is a tool that allows you to use a personal computer with Internet connection to conduct your banking online.
2: What can I do with belco@net Internet Banking? You can view account balances and transaction history, transfer money, and download transactions to a personal financial manager and much more in a safe secure manner.
3: Is any of my personal information stored in belco@net Internet Banking product? No. Any user id's or passwords are stored on Belco's core processing mainframe.
4: How current is my banking information? Your account information is updated as transactions occur.
5: What accounts will I be able to access through belco@net Internet Banking? You can access your checking, savings, investment and loan accounts from belco@net Internet banking service. belco@net Internet Banking Product is intended to give you as much access, security, and versatility as possible.
6: How much account information can I view at once? The system will automatically show the most recent transactions and information. However, by selecting the drop down arrow with the account history, you can choose to view the entire current month or previous month's (we keep 12 months of history for you to view).
7: What formats can I download my transaction history in? belco@net Internet Banking supports downloads to Quicken™, Microsoft Money™.
8: When can I use belco@net Internet Banking services? With belco@net Internet Banking, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
9: How long can I be inactive before being logged out of the Internet banking product? The inactivity time out default is set for 5 minutes.
10: What is required to use belco@net Internet Banking service? All you need to use Internet Banking is a secure browser that supports 128 bit encryption, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer®, Netscape Navigator® or America Online®. You can use any computer that has Internet access.
11: How do I access belco@net Internet Banking? To begin using belco@net, you must first read our disclosure and complete our "Application for belco@net Services". Once your registration is received we will process your request.
12: What happens if I forget or lose my password? Just call us during normal business hours and we will reset you password for you.
13: I have AOL and I can't get into belco @ net. The old AOL browser cannot be used to access belco@net, you must use Netscape 3.X+ or IE4.X+. If you have upgraded to AOL 5.0, make sure that you have the latest Internet browser.
14: I downloaded the latest version of AOL and I still can't get online. When you upgrade to AOL5.0 online, it does not upgrade the browser. To upgrade your browser, go to Keyword: 128BROWSER and download Internet Explorer or call AOL and have them send you the upgrade disk.
15: It won't take my PIN. The PIN is the same as your BELLE PIN. It must be entered in as the numbers on the touch-tone pad, not the letters on the pad.
16: It won't take my password. When you are first given a password, it is BCCU, which must be typed in all capital letters.
17: I changed my password and now I can't get in. Please call Belco to have password reset.
18: How long can my password be? 10 characters. Alpha and/or numeric - no special characters such as *, &, /.
19: The sign on page tells me I'm not authorized to use belco@net. Please contact Belco.
20: The buttons are gray with yellow lettering. AOL users - The old AOL browser cannot be used to access belco@net, you must use Netscape 3.X+ or IE4.X+. If you have upgraded to AOL 5.0, make sure that you have the latest Internet browser. AOL users - When you upgrade to AOL5.0 online, it does not upgrade the browser. To upgrade your browser, go to Keyword: 128BROWSER and download Internet Explorer or call AOL and have them send you the upgrade disk. The users in Netscape and Microsoft must have Java enabled.
21: No buttons show up on the left side. AOL users - The old AOL browser cannot be used to access belco@net, you must use Netscape 3.X+ or IE4.X+. If you have upgraded to AOL 5.0, make sure that you have the latest Internet browser AOL users - When you upgrade to AOL5.0 online, it does not upgrade the browser. To upgrade your browser, go to Keyword: 128BROWSER and download Internet Explorer or call AOL and have them send you the upgrade disk. The users in Netscape and Microsoft must have Java enabled or upgrade their browser.
22: Macintosh users not able to load belco@net screens. Go to Internet Explorer Preferences, Web Browser Preferences, enable web content, active content, plug-ins, scripting and active x.
